Angela Huval is a recognized clinician, author, consultant, and lecturer as well as a U.S. Army Veteran. She has over 25 years of experience in the Social Work profession. She spent 10 years working with high risk students in a public school system, provided in home child and family therapy services referred by the court system, conducted intervention services for foster care children and coordinated child and adolescent behavioral health programs. Ms. Huval has served as a Military Youth and Family Life Consultant at various military installations. In 2009, she became a Behavioral Health Officer in the United States Army. She is currently working with the Louisiana National Guard and offers individual and group counseling, crisis intervention services, and conducts training on suicide prevention, sexual assault prevention, and resiliency training.

She also manages a private practice part time in the Lafayette region.
